Stevns Charter & Towage A/S

Stevns Charter & Towage A/S was founded in 1965 by Shipowner Niels Højlund Hansen. It was founded with the purpose of running tugs, salvages, seismic and offshore vessels. Today we own a fleet of  tugs ranging from 7 tons upto 65 tons bollard pull. Furthermore we have 1 crew/passenger vessels from 12 upto 36 passengers.
Our main activities are towing contracts with own fleet and from time to time based on in-chartered tugs/special vessels.
We have for the past 20 years been appointed by Scandinavian underwriters to carry out salvage operations on a world wide basis. For this we are always contactable 24 hours a day – all year round.
We also do

• cable laying.
• towing of various feeding equipment for the fish farm industri on behalf of Scandinavian, Scottish and French manufacturers.
• ice breaking in Scandinavian waters/ports.
• standby/guard vessels for cable layers/offshore.
• rigmoves in Northsea/world wide upon inducement.
• sale and purchase of in house fleet and on behalf of our direct clients.
• port towage/assistance in Scandinavian Ports.
• 3 years terminal contract for Statoil, Kalundborg Denmark.
• contract with Telia Networks for repair of seacables surrounding Denmark
  (over a longer periode) 
• supporting tele and powercable installation at sea.
• Working in the windmill industri since 2005 supporting instalationplatforms latest in the Thannet and Barrow Millfarms.
• Crewboat charter, own tonnage together with indchartret boats.
